Start Video Editor by typing ”video" into the task bar search box
Select Video Editor
After Video Editor opens
Select New Video Project
Name your video
Select +Add
Add any images and videos you want to use in your project
Drag the images into the timeline individually or all at once Right click on the images in the timeline to change the duration of the images to suit
Use the buttons under the preview screen to access additional editing tools
There are additional options for stock and custom background audio above the screen
Once your images/videos/audio are in place in the timeline select Finish Video (top right) Select High 1080p and click export Choose the location to export the file you have created.
Once the file has been exported, plug in the SMT Video brochure and copy the file to it.

MAC Instructions
Open iMovie
Select Create new Movie
Select Import Media
Add any images and videos you want to use in your project and click Import Selected
Once Imported, drag the images into the timeline individually or all at once Use the buttons along the top to add audio, title screens and transitions if desired
There are additional options using the Settings button on the right above the timeline – The timeline size can be adjusted using the slider bar above the timeline These setting will affect the entire timeline.
There are additional settings above the preview window – These settings affect individual or a group of images if they are selected in your timeline To select multiple images hold the command button and click on each. [A blue square with a square in the middle Description automatically generated] To set the image crop setting, click on the crop icon and choose - Fit – will scale so the entire image is shown with black bars to fill the screen where applicable Fill – will stretch and clip images so the screen is completely filled – portions of your images will be clipped Ken Burns - will add a pan and scan effect [A white arrow in a square Description automatically generated]
Once your images/videos/audio are in place in the timeline select Share (top right) Choose Export File – Default setting – 1080p High Name your movie and choose the location to export the file you created
Once the file has been exported, plug in the SMT Video brochure, and copy the file to it.
